Portland Trails 15x15 - A Symposium of Ideas

Not just an annual meeting…an annual celebration of great ideas from our community!

5:30 pm: Member reception and Annual Meeting

6:00 pm: 15×15 presentations

Our annual meeting is a night of the best ideas in trails, transportation, conservation, and placemaking from members of our community. The 15×15 presentation style inspires presenters to be deep, brief, and snappy; and it inspires audiences to walk away educated and entertained.

Presenters get 15 slides, at 15 seconds each to share the story of their idea or innovations. In years past we’ve heard from lawyers, middle schoolers, bridge builders, botanists and more. Join us for an evening of great ideas, snacks, drinks and community!

SPACE Gallery.
Free. Light refreshments during annual meeting, cash bar.

Do you have a great idea worth sharing? Present at 15×15!

The key is to present something you love that relates to Portland Trails’ mission and work. Most people use this style of presentation to showcase their latest creative endeavors; some people share their passion. Maybe you design clever street art or own a business that uses bicycle power instead of a combustion engine. Maybe you are a physical therapist that does all of your work on trails? Maybe you sold your car and get everywhere by bicycle! We want to hear your inspiring ideas or projects that promote outdoor trail-oriented recreation, active transportation or placemaking. It’s a creative celebration–but never a sales pitch.

There are many example presentations online at http://www.pecha-kucha.org/presentations/
