Get Involved

Portland Trails' mission is to build a network of trails where people can walk, run, bike, ski, and enjoy nature in greater Portland. We're linking neighborhoods, schools, and open spaces with new trails - giving the people of greater Portland recreation and alternative transportation options close to home. But as a non-profit, we need your membership support to be able to keep up our good work!

All Portland Trails' members at the $35 level and above receive the 3rd edition Portland Trails Map and Trail Guide for FREE! It's an essential resource for finding great local places to explore this summer. Members also get free snowshoe rentals ,  free admission to our series of guided “Discovery Treks” and receive our quarterly newsletter and optional email updates. 

Portland Trails memberships are due annually on June 1st.  Memberships purchased after January 1st include the following membership year.  Memberships purchased before 12/31 will receive a renewal notice the following Spring.

Do you know someone who is interested in Portland Trails?   To show how much we appreciate the support of our renewing members, Portland Trails will double the value of your membership.  When you renew, you can choose a friend to give a gift membership to - for free!  Please email caitlyn@trails.org or call 775-2411 after you renew to let us know who you'd like us to direct a complimentary membership to.  We'll send them a nice letter telling them about your gift and it won't cost you anything!

Portland Trails Evergreen Membership Subscriptions

Become an Evergreen Member by making a monthly or yearly membership contribution to Portland Trails.   Evergreen memberships are automatically renewed on a yearly basis and begin at just $5 per month.  Your recurring donation helps us reduce mailing costs and ensures that more of your donation can go directly toward building and maintaining trails in greater Portland.
