Catherine Buxton took a bike ride on the Back Cove Trail in 2013 that changed her life forever. Though it took a few more years to leave behind her native Boston, she’s excited to have chosen the close-knit community, waterfront charm, and endless dining options of the Forest City. She is proud to work for Portland Trails–an organization so integral in her initial impression of the city and so important to her as a bicycle and pedestrian commuter every day. Catherine has a degree in sociology and theater from Vassar College, and prior to coming to Portland Trails, worked as an educator in museums and schools throughout New England. She is also a (sometimes) working actor and theater educator and has a very, very old corgi.
