Connor spent his childhood living in Portland. A frequent user of the Portland Trails system, he was always interested in the work that went into building and maintaining the vast trail network that was growing throughout his hometown. Upon graduating high school, Connor attended the University of Maine in Orono as a wildlife ecology major. After two years of college, he decided that he needed a break to explore his interest in conservation, which brought him to work for the Student Conservation Association, Utah Conservation Corps and the Maine Conservation Corp. Now attending USM, he plans on receiving a degree in environmental science with a minor in biology. When away from the trails, Connor enjoys skiing, reading in the local coffee shops and parks, soccer and exploring the city he grew up in.
