Trails have been an important part of Nora’s life ever since she was old enough to walk – no, crawl – no, be carried in one of those backpacks that holds a baby! She believes that a lifetime of access to trails and green spaces has made her the person she is today, and she is very pleased to be a part of making trails accessible to everyone in her community.
Nora’s background is in environmental biology with a focus on plant ecology. She has previously worked in invasive species management and environmental education in the Casco Bay region. She is an enthusiastic cyclist, cross-country skier, explorer and painter, and an aspiring surfer and sauerkraut maker. She is excited to get to know Portland better through its trails and the people who use them!
