Portland Trails Hires Jennifer Goldman as new Advancement Manager

Portland Trails is excited to announce the appointment of Jennifer Goldman as the first Advancement Manager–a new position and a strategic move for the organization. Ms. Goldman brings over 20 years of development and nonprofit experience to Portland Trails, previously serving as Director of Development and External Relations for the Restorative Justice Institute of Maine.

As Portland Trails celebrates its 25th birthday, a major focus is long-term sustainability – gathering the resources required to manage the existing network and to invest in extensions. Andy Abrams, Board President Emeritus says, “Jen brings the experience, knowledge of Portland, and guidance that will be critical as we enter our next 25 years. This is a vital next step as we evolve and implement strategies that will keep the organization sustainable, just as Portland Trails aims to keep Portland’s green spaces sustainable for years to come.”

Portland Trails transforms Greater Portland into a healthier community for people powered transportation, conservation, and recreation, by creating a network of trails and green spaces that connect people with places.
