This #GivingTuesday, take the Forest City Trail Ch This #GivingTuesday, take the Forest City Trail Challenge with us! On Dec. 1st, a Portland Trails staff member will walk the 10-mile Forest City Trail, starting at the Stroudwater Trail and ending at the beautiful Presumpscot Falls. All you have to do is donate! For every $1,000 raised on #GivingTuesday, we’ll walk to the next checkpoint on the trail.

Our goal is to raise $8,000! You can give us a head start at the link in our bio.

This portion of the trail, sponsored by @unumbenefits, connects neighborhoods to businesses and serves as a green route for commuters on their way to and from work.

Welcome to our newest Adopt-a-Trail partner, Devel Welcome to our newest Adopt-a-Trail partner, Developers Collaborative! This fall, they adopted a trail in Evergreen Cemetery near their recent development project at Stevens Square. Their support will help keep our trail network well-maintained all year long!

In partnership with @maineconservationcollaborative and the Climate Change Observatory Network, we’re inviting you to help document changes to the Fore River wetland’s ecosystem over time. 🌾🦆 All you have to do is rest your phone on top of the wooden post (left), take a picture, and scan a QR code to send it along to a data collection database. Full instructions are explained on the sign post.
