Seasonal Trail Crew

Are you a motivated and caring individual with a desire to work outdoors in support of one of Maine’s most popular trail networks? Are you comfortable working in both a team setting and independently, and interacting with the public on a daily basis?

Portland Trails is a nonprofit land trust now celebrating 30 years of conserving land and building trails and infrastructure for recreation and transportation in Greater Portland. We are seeking one or two seasonal trail stewards for trail construction, trail maintenance, and other trail-based work throughout the trail network.

We are willing to hire one full-time individual or two part-time people, depending on the applicants' employment needs. Daily/weekly schedule will be determined during the hiring process.  Approximate employment term is May through August 2022.
