National Trails Day: Forest City Hike 10-Mile Hike

Celebrate National Trails Day with founder, Tom Jewell and Executive Director, Kara Wooldrik, on our annual 10-mile Forest City Trail hike. Explore hidden gems throughout Portland on a cross-city urban hike from the Stroudwater Trail to the Presumpscot River Preserve.
We’ll start early on Saturday at Blueberry Rd. on the Stroudwater Trail and hike the entire Forest City trail across town, hitting the Fore River Sanctuary, Evergreen Cemetery, and lots of trails you never knew existed, before ending at the Presumpscot River and the beautiful falls. Grab your hiking boots, pack your lunch, and get ready to see Portland as you’ve never before!
